Register today for  the 2016 SC Food Access Summit!

Join us for the second annual SC Food Access Summit highlighting efforts that improve access to healthy food for South Carolinians with limited financial resources. 

The 2016 SC Food Access Summit will feature  Anthony Flaccavento, President & Founder of SCALE, Inc. as the keynote speaker. The morning plenary speaker will be  Mark Winne, former Executive Director of The Hartford Food System. 
 
The summit provides social policy tools, training and action-oriented ideas to educate and organize participants to support local and state efforts to make the food system equitable for all. Session topics include advocacy and policy, community economic development, transportation and food access, and funding healthy food projects.  View the draft summit agenda here.

Since 2004, we have provided 309 loans for $37.6 million in f inancing
that facilitated more than $235.7 million in community development projects; we
financed 1,348 housing units, 9 healthy food enterprises, 10 community facilities, and 14
c ommunity businesses, creating or retaining 2,929 jobs and providing a safe,
affordable place to call home for 3,370 individuals and families.
