30-Year-Olds:  Then and Now

This infographic shows how 30-year-olds today compare with those in 1975. It provides comparisons on characteristics of these young adults, such as having been married, enrollment in school, living on their own and living with a child. Selected socioeconomic characteristics are also included, such as having a high school diploma, participating in the labor force, earning a moderate income and owning a home. This collection of visualizations presents data from the Current Population Survey's Annual Social and Economic Supplement from 1975 and 2015.
