CE & The Arts: Volunteers Needed

Soon we will be announcing a year-long schedule of events for "CE and The Arts," one of our very popular Continuing Education programs.

For those not familiar with the program, we teach about Social Work themes through the use of theater and film. Social workers come together to view a film or play, which is followed by a lecture or panel and facilitated discussion.

This year we began to introduce the use of other forms of performance art with a concert by the Music For People Improv Orchestra at the Annual Meeting of the Profession/CE Conference in Atlantic City.

Volunteers who have an interest in the arts and would like to be involved in finding and selecting programs, identifying presenters or personally presenting the educational component of a program, are encouraged to send an e-mail to info@naswnj.org with the subject line "CE and The Arts."
