Using activity scarves is an easy and safe way for young children to practice gross motor and object control skills. Try some of these quick, easy games with kids:

Throwing/Catching: Throw scarves up in the air and try to catch before hitting the ground
Dancing: Play music and dance with scarves.
Drawing: Encourage children to "paint" or draw pictures in the air using scarves
Teaching Distance/Height/Speed: Encourage children to throw near/far or fast/slow
