NFF Chalktalk - July 26, 2016
Former Michigan State punter  Mike Sadler  was tragically killed in a car accident July 23 in Wisconsin. The 2014 NFF National Scholar-Athlete was 24.

A two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection (2012, 2013), Sadler finished his career ranked among MSU's all-time leaders in every punting category. Off the field, he became the first student-athlete at Michigan State to earn Academic All-America honors four times. Sadler graduated with a bachelor's degree in applied engineering sciences in May 2013 with a 3.97 GPA. He received his master's degree in public policy in May 2015 with a 3.84 graduate GPA, and he was scheduled to begin law school at Stanford this fall.

Sadler was working a kicking camp near Waukesha, Wis.; current Nebraska punter  Sam Foltz  was in the same car as Sadler and was also killed in the crash. The NFF sends it thoughts and prayers to both of their families and friends and to the Michigan State and Nebraska communities.
