Can you believe it ... summer is finally here?  It's great time for walks, golfing, water sports, dining outdoors and lots of quality family time.  What a wonderful time of the year!  And of course, it's a perfect time to create dream bedrooms!

Team Wisconsin has had another busy month.  We continue to be surprised at how fast the word spreads about what we do.  If we focus on the mission, the rest always seems to follow.  We truly are changing children's lives one bedroom at a time.  Please feel free to contact Special Spaces if you would like to join us in this important mission.

Please note, we love sharing highlights but may not always be able to feature every single room.  To further explore special spaces, including unique room details, please visit our website at www.specialspaceswisconsin.org, and 'LIKE' our Facebook pages and visit them often.

We hope everybody had a wonderful Independence Day celebrating our country!

7-year-old Cailinn is a cheerful child who loves sparkles, glitter, unicorns, bunnies and the colors purple and green. We plan to make her new dream bedroom a fun-filled whimsical place where she can be nurtured, learn, play and grow.

The corporate sponsor for Cailinn's room is Synaptive Medical.  Their volunteers are flying in from Toronto, Canada to help with Cailinn's room makeover!  We are blessed to work with so many people who are willing to go the extra mile(s) to help make a child's dreams a reality.  Visit www.synaptivemedical.com  to learn more about the amazing work this company does.

Be sure to visit and 'LIKE' the   Milwaukee Special Spaces Facebook to follow the progress of Cailinn's dream bedroom makeover which will take place this Thursday and Friday July 28-29.

~ Always be yourself ... unless you can be a unicorn, then always be a unicorn.

Noah is an amazing soft spoken 16-year-old.  You would never know by looking at him that he is a fighter.  He has fought brain cancer twice and beaten it!  Noah truly deserved a space where he can relax and enjoy life. Noah said his new sporty/videogame dream bedroom is better than he could have ever imagined.  Although we're not certain what part is his favorite; perhaps it's his Milwaukee Brewer Jonathan Lucroy autographed jersey!

Special thanks to Cedarburg's Boy Scout Troop 830 and their parents for helping out as volunteers for Noah's special space. We also had a "guest" volunteer-Matt Riley, a former Boy Scout who battled cancer years ago.  He told his story of his cancer to the boys and how he continued to  work on becoming an Eagle Scout during his treatment.  He also stayed and helped us with the project. The boys really enjoyed working with him, this was the highlight of the day!

Be sure to visit and  'LIKE' the Milwaukee Special Spaces Facebook to view more pictures of Noah's new turtle powered dream bedroom.

Thanks again to Team Noah!
