1. Update for "Soularize 2016: MEN Talks- Show Up and Act!" and the "Drawing from a Deep Well: A Men's Retreat with Fr. Richard Rohr" from November 3-6, 2016

We are pleased to announce that men from 35 states and four countries have registered to attend Soularize 2016 and the Drawing from a Deep Well Men's Retreat with Fr. Richard Rohr. If you are attending and are not currently involved with Illuman, we hope you will make contact with the chapter or region nearest you as we want attendees to learn more about activities happening in their area. A list of Illuman contacts can be accessed here.
In addition, we want to alert everyone that lodging is limited at the Hyatt Tamaya Resort and we encourage everyone to make their hotel reservations as soon as possible. As we get serious about our spiritual journey, we seek to express our spirituality through service. "How do I serve?" is an enduring question that has many answers-and we want to hear about how you serve. Soularize 2016 will provide twelve men with a public platform to share your life-shaping service, passion, and unique perspective about integrating service and spirituality. Whatever your topic (clearly connected to your journey-not a sales/promotion pitch), share it with us by submitting an application to speak. 3. A Letter from Marlee to the Men of Illuman
|
This month, we would like to encourage everyone to read a letter that was shared with us by the Arizona Chapter of Illuman. Marlee is the granddaughter of Jerry Hughes, a member of our Arizona core team. As Jerry was preparing for the Arizona MROP, Marlee presented her grandfather with the letter below. It was read to the men gathered in Aravaipa Canyon in April and moved us all deeply. May you be so moved by her letter.
