We have had a whirlwind of a summer at the Chamber office.  In our office, Elyce Curry, our Membership Recruitment and Services Coordinator, resigned to take a position at the Vicksburg Convention Center.  We will miss her dearly and wish her the best of luck.  She is a wonderful asset to our community and we cannot wait to see all of the conferences she brings to our great city!  

Lurline Lawrence Simmons is our New Membership Recruitment and Services Coordinator.  Lurline is a native of Warren County and has been on the job now for two weeks. She has two young children, Case and Aubrey, and is married to Erick Simmons, also a Warren County native.  She brings with her over 7+ years of industrial sales and marketing experience, as well as, a background in owning her own small business.  We are very excited to welcome her on board and know that she will offer our members top level service and commitment here at the Chamber.  Please contact Lurline at [email protected] to make sure you understand your member benefits, schedule an event, or ask a question about your membership. 

Around town, business is growing and changing.  From the Grand Openings of several small businesses, to the renovation and expansion of other existing businesses, Vicksburg is setting the example of what it means to foster a community where business is key.  Join us in welcoming our newest Chamber Members and in celebration of the continued successes of others.  It is not possible to continue our growth and development as a community and to offer a future for our generations to come without your membership and commitment to serve.
