Concerts on the Quad music series

The Huntingdon Council Arts Council and Juniata College are once again bringing music to the community with our Concerts on the Quad music series. For four Thursdays in July, the outdoor concerts will feature some great local musical talent. The series continues with two musical groups on Thursday, July 21 starting at 6:30 pm. Music, Music, Music! features a variety of music and music styles. This Huntingdon County based group will also feature Anita Roseborough. They perform for banquets, at the Raystown Lake concert series, Hartslog Day and Festival of Songs in December. (Rehearsal are Monday evenings, 6:45 to 7:45 pm at Fifteenth Street Methodist Church. New members are always welcome.) Take Note is a 15 member female group singing all your favorites from the 40s through today. They perform in churches, nursing homes, private parties, and also are a favorite on the local Telethon. Join us for our series of Concerts on the Quad. Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets, picnic supplies, and your friends and families to the Juniata College quad, in front of Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts. These outdoor concerts are free (donations appreciated) and open to all. Concerts start at 6:30 pm. Mark your calendar for the next concert in the series:

The Huntingdon Council Arts Council and Juniata College are once again bringing music to the community with our Concerts on the Quad music series. For four Thursdays in July, the outdoor concerts will feature some great local musical talent. The series continues with the Community Summer Band on Thursday, July 28 starting at 6:30 pm. The Community Summer Band was formed in 1991 to provide an outlet for adults and gifts youth instrumentalists to share their love of music during the summer months. The band rehearses on Monday evenings from 7-9 during June and July in preparation for the presentation of three free outdoor concerts at various historic venues. Join us for our final Concert on the Quad in July. Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets, picnic supplies, and your friends and families to the Juniata College quad, in front of Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts. The outdoor concert is free (donations appreciated) and open to all. Concert starts at 6:30 pm.
