2016 Back to School Conference-Gender Challenges in Rehabilitation
PIA Law and the Ontario Brain Injury Association are pleased to announce the annual Back to School conference on Friday, September 16 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto. The conference will once again be held during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
This year's conference will focus on "Gender Challenges in Rehabilitation."
At this time the following speakers have confirmed their attendance:
Dr. Angela Colantonio - Rehabilitation Sciences Institute Director, University of Toronto
Barbara Baptiste- Owner, Rehabilitation Management Inc.
Dr. Tina Trudel - Tina M. Trudel, PhD, CBIST is the Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Neuropsychologist for Northeast Evaluation Specialists, providing assessment and rehabilitation at community-based locations throughout New England.
Dr. David Rosenbloom - Clinical Professor in the Department of Neurology, McMaster University
In addition, Brian Cameron, Oatley Vigmond and Lindsay Charles, McLeish Orlando will discuss SABS update, new regime, forms and CAT designation.
OBIA, in collaboration with PIA Law will be presenting at the conference "The Awards of Excellence in Brain Injury Rehabilitation" to a Hospital Social Worker, Case Manager, Health Care Provider, Community Brain Injury Association and Rehabilitation Company that consistently provides exceptional service to the Brain Injury Community throughout Ontario.
All Proceeds from the conference will go to the Ontario Brain Injury Association.
