Dear friends and Fellows,
November will be a busy month for the C.S. Lewis Institute Annapolis. Here are some of the events planned.
Our annual Fellows Reunion Dinner will be on November 13, 6-9pm at the Yellowfin Restaurant. This is for all Fellows and their guests, past and present. Two special guest speakers will be with us. More on this in a separate communication. (If you are a Fellow and have not yet received an official email communication about this event, please email Amy Yearwood.)
Ken Boa will make his annual visit to Annapolis on November 21-23. There will be two opportunities for the general public to hear him, and both are listed in the calendar below. An invitation to the Saturday evening event at the Federal House will follow. A general invitation is made here for you to hear Ken preach at the MACC (Mid Atlantic Community Church) on Sunday, November 23 at 9:15 and 11am.
We have booked Randy Newman (author and apologist) to conduct an apologetics seminar on February 27 and 28. Randy is a gifted speaker and facilitator and will be working with our Fellows (past and present) to sharpen their apologetic skills.
We are in the process of planning seminars between January and April to offer the Annapolis community an opportunity to engage and be blessed by the speakers and content of CSLI Annapolis. Watch the newsletter for more information on this.

Amy's Corner:
It's November already?! The year was just starting... We recently finished up the first Lewis Reading group of the year at St. John's. We had an excellent three weeks of discussing The Screwtape Letters. There were very interesting questions raised, and I am looking forward to future groups. We will be reading The Horse and His Boy with dinner and discussion on Sunday, November 9 from 7-8:30pm, on the first floor of the BBC. We will be reading Til We Have Faces and discussing on November 23 and December 7!
We had a pancake night at my apartment a week ago, and it was fantastic as I got to meet about 12 people I'd never even seen before! Our men and women's fellowship groups are going really well. We've missed Jim and Ann this month as they've traveled, but we are enjoying Bible study and fellowship with each other. Please pray for me and Jim and Ann as we plan and seek the Lord for our work at SJC.
There is a lot of darkness on campus at SJC, but I am fully confident that Jesus is working there to bring His kingdom. Please, please be striving with us in prayer that the Lord would move powerfully and bring His light!
