Tributes
A Gift in Honour is a meaningful way to make a donation in the name of a friend, family member or coworker in support of the Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation (BCSCF). You may want to honour a family member, a teacher, a neighbour, or an individual who has inspired you with her courage in the face of illness or who offered exceptional support to you during your illness. Tribute gifts can also be given in recognition of birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions.
Memorial Giving
While cards and flowers are always appreciated, a memorial gift to the BCSCF makes a difference in the lives of those in our community who are still going through or recovering from breast cancer. You can invite friends and family to join your lasting tribute by including these words in the obituary notice:
"In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation. Please send your gift to: Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation, #414, 301 - 14 Street NW, Calgary T2N 2A1. Donations can also be accepted over the phone by calling 403.270.2158."
Planned Giving
Thinking of Leaving a Legacy?
Legacy gifts can make a significant impact in funding our programs and services. A future gift arranged through your estate plan to BCSCF provides confidence that there will always be a steady, ongoing stream of funds available to keep our programs running.
What is Planned Giving?
Planned giving is an opportunity for you to support BCSCF beyond your own lifetime. It allows you to plan today to make a significant gift in the future, while optimizing tax and other financial benefits.
Planned gifts to BCSCF may include bequests, gifts of life insurance, charitable remainder trusts, and gifts of retirement funds.
Why should I consider Planned Giving?
By arranging a planned gift to BCSCF, you are making a commitment of support for the future. Your planned gift will benefit others for years to come, ensuring BCSCF is a ble to meet the ongoing needs of the breast cancer patients and their families.
