A Message from the President
Mike DyerThe Chamber is proud to be bringing Georgia's first Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) to the Middle Georgia area during the 2016-2017 school year.  Our student recruitment efforts are in full swing, and I would like to ask for your help in ensuring that we have a full class in this, our inaugural program.  It would be great if you could nominate a motivated middle or high school student to participate in this year's YEA! program.  Nominations need to be submitted to Nadia Osman at nosman.yea@maconchamber.com by August 1.  Nominees could be your child, grandchild, niece or nephew, neighbor or employee.  The tuition for the ten month program is $695.00.  For those applicants needing financial assistance, there will be scholarships available.  If you should miss the August 1 early deadline, there will still be time to submit nominees by our regular final deadline of August 30.

Additional information on the Macon YEA! program, including application forms, can be found here .  There will also be an informational session held at the Chamber tonight at 6:00 PM.  We are excited to see these students flourish, and I thank you for helping to make this program a success!
