LABOR DAY
School Hours 
Elementary school hours are 8:30 am - 2:55 pm(dismissal time is new this year)
The building opens at 8:00 am for breakfast
Students enter the building at 8:20 am
Tardy bell rings at 8:30 am


New Absence Reporting Procedure
Please call the Schultz office at 740-833-1400 to report your student's absence (the SafeArrival absence reporting system will not be used for the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year).  If your child's absence is not reported by 9:00 am, you will receive a phone call from the school office. 
 
Ecollect forms (our online back to school forms) can be completed by logging into the PowerSchool Parent Portal  (Click here for instructions)

If you need assistance logging into your account, please call the Schultz office at 740-833-1400.
Delaware City Schools has upgraded to the PaySchools Central payment portal for parents. You can pay for your children's school lunches & school fees - you can even review your student's meal purchases.
*There will be no convenience fees charged to families for the first semester

3rd, 4th & 5th grade:  $27

*Technology Protection Fee:  $20
*This is an optional fee.
"Opt in" is on E-Collect Forms in PowerSchool on the Parent Portal.

Parent Communication


There are several ways to receive information about Schultz Elementary School and Delaware City Schools. Please check out the following:
  • District website - www.dcs.k12.oh.us
  • Text Messages: to receive text messages from DCS, opt in by texting the word YES to 67587 from the phone on which you want to receive the message.  The number must match the number we have listed in your students' contact file.  If you receive a message that the number is not in the DCS system, please contact the Schultz office and request to add your number or make a change to the number we have on file 
  • Schultz E-Mail List:    to be redirected to the DCS website and sign up to receive Schultz and DCS newsletters, special bulletins and other important information from Schultz Elementary School (check spam folder first time receiving).

2019-2020 Yearbooks 

Most of the 2019-2020 yearbooks have been distributed, either at Dempsey MS (for 6th graders), at technology pick-up for online students, or in homeroom classes for hybrid students. 
If you ordered a yearbook, but have not received it - please contact the Schultz office at 740-833-1400.
If you did not order a yearbook and wish you had ordered one - there are some extra copies
 for sale in the office. The cost is $15.
