Surveys Show Northeast, West Coast Most Likely To Accept COVID-19 Vaccine
Carnegie Mellon University researchers have begun daily nationwide surveys to determine U.S. acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines to pinpoint the localities where people are most skeptical of the shots.
Despite the pandemic, the business of book publishing at Carnegie Mellon University presses on. Cynthia Lamb, who has served the Carnegie Mellon University Press for more than 20 years, edits and proofreads every one of the 12 to 18 books published by the Press annually.
Nuria Ballesteros Soria and Cassie Eng are the 2021 recipients of the Dietrich College Humanities and Social Sciences’ graduate student awards for teaching. The awards are given to graduate students who have shown an outstanding dedication to educating students and improving their teaching abilities.
By day, Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences alumnus Arnav Jhunjhunwala helps build an infrastructure foundation for India’s sustained growth though his company Alom Poly Extrusions’ reliable, high-quality and recyclable piping. At night, he engages his creative energies through writing.
