RESOURCES! A resource is used for a purpose, for example, educational materials and tools. Resources can also be a physical place, like a library! We use resources to study, to work, and to help our children complete schoolwork. Let’s enjoy some local resources for quality free time this Summer! Enjoy a wonderful and safe hike at one of the parks listed below.
Idylwild Wildlife Management Area (WMA)
Located in Southeastern Caroline County. The scenic Marshyhope Creek forms the western boundary of the Idylwild WMA. Roads and trails promise adventure for your hiker's and all-terrain bicyclist's spirit.
Martinak State Park
Located south of Denton, in Caroline County. Amenities include hiking trails, playground, shelters and a nature center. Modern boating access is available.
Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge
