Virtual Honors Day Presentation to be Released May 29th
Class of 2020 Has Accrued $8.5 Million in Aggregate Scholarship Dollars to Date 
The Office of Academic Affairs and the Class of 2020 sponsors have collaborated on a Virtual Honors Day Presentation to take place on the originally-scheduled date of Friday, May 29th. The presentation, which is a celebration of all student achievements, recognitions, awards, and scholarships earned, will air on the school's Facebook page and YouTube channel beginning at 1 pm. 

As of this writing, the 57 members of the Class of 2020 have accrued $8.5 million in aggregate scholarship dollars/awards offered with additional prospects still incoming. Factoring in eighth-semester grades, Marquette will boast 25 summa cum laude honorees this year. Students achieve summa cum laude status by virtue of a cumulative grade-point average of 4.00 or higher. Those 25 students earned an average of 27 dual-credit hours with three individuals collecting a class-best 36 credits.

Marquette is conducting both a virtual Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Ceremony this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The virtual Baccalaureate Mass will be live-streamed on the school's Facebook page and YouTube channel beginning at 5 pm on Wednesday, June 3rd with the virtual Commencement Ceremony to follow at approximately 6 pm.
