 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
-- Galatians 3:28
Dear fellow alumni:

“Blest be the tie that binds
our hearts in Christian love;
the fellowship of kindred minds
is like to that above.”

This familiar hymn verse reminds us that as alumni, we have a special tie that binds us together across all decades - our Christian faith and love! Even after 50 years, this tie remains strong. We are looking forward to welcoming 111 alumni and guests on campus this weekend for the CLJC Classes of 1970 and 1971 50th reunion. The committee has planned a wonderful event for their classmates to renew, remember, and remain in Christ - The tie that binds.

Think back to your first year as a student - were you nervous, excited, or both? Dorm move-in days are already happening and it’s great to see all the enthusiasm! Please pray for our incoming and returning students as our fall semester begins at the end of the month.

May God bless and strengthen our tie to Him and to each other!

‘All-Surpassing Savior’ declared as 2021-22 academic theme
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed." 2 Corinthians 4:7-9

Each year, a group of students gather to decide the academic theme for the following school year. CUAA is excited to announce the 2020-21 academic theme: All-Surpassing Savior. The theme is inspired by 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, recognizing how Jesus’ power is all-surpassing because He is an all-surpassing Savior. Read more here.
