Dear Concordia Alumna/us,
It's here! Graduation. It's what our students work toward since day one. Days and hours of studying, class, hanging out with friends, and Chapel. These are memories that will hold a special place in the hearts of our new alumni, as we are sure they do for you. Take some time this month to remember your graduation and your Concordia experiences. Maybe even reach out to one of your former roommates or classmates. We would also love to see you back on campus this summer. Take a look at the articles and calendar below to find an opportunity to bring you back. Always know, though, that you don't need a reason to return to your alma mater. If you would like to take a tour, feel free to reach out to our alumni relations department at
734-995-7318 or via email at alumni@cuaa.edu.

First Justice & Public Policy Summit held on campus in April
The department of Career Engagement & Industry Relations partnered with our Justice and Public Policy program to put on our first annual summit on Monday, April 29, in the Kreft Recital Hall at CUAA. This event brought in six agency representatives from across the state, including the US Drug Enforcement Administration, City of Kalamazoo Public Safety, Monroe County Sheriff's Office, and Livingston County Sheriff's Office. Students had the opportunity to interact with these agencies, ask questions, and learn about job openings and how to apply. The connections made at this were invaluable opportunities for students and law enforcement professionals. This is what makes CUAA an uncommon university.

2018-19 Academic Theme - More than Conquerors
.... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
-- Romans 8:31-39
