Civic Engagement Projects
|
|
|
The civic engagements classes completed some wonderful projects recently:
- They collected toiletry items from 6th grade students to donate to the eight boys currently living at the Baldwin County Boys Ranch in Summerdale.
- They collected used tennis shoes from Lower School students to donated to the Many More Miles campaign.
- They collected makeup, toiletries, and hygiene items for women at McKemie Place. The students reached out to local hotels, doctor's offices, and dentists for most of their donations.
- They held a park clean-up at May Day Park.
- 7th and 8th grade students submitted pictures of their dogs with $5 to be donated to Maji Hope.
- Students played rock and roll bingo with the residents of Homestead Village.
