Parent Update - Home of the Bullfrogs
A Note From Mrs. Yacek
Good afternoon LRES Families,

I hope that this weekly update finds our families doing well and staying healthy. This Friday, student progress reports will be up to date for parents to view. The district will be sharing out a video showing parents how to access the online progress reports in Powerschool.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s classroom teacher or the office for assistance.

Have a great week everyone!

Upcoming Dates

  • Friday, October 30th - In school make up day for A Day students
  • Tuesday, November 3rd - No school; Staff Professional Development Day
LRES Picture Day Make Ups
If your child was not able to attend picture day, Geskus has shared a flyer with us for parents to schedule retakes. Unfortunately, the retakes will not be held at any of the three schools. The company has provided alternative locations. See link below:

Hybrid Families

Classroom teachers are using Google Classroom to post assignments and check attendance. This will be the primary source for remote students to access lessons and activities on remote days.

Our primary math curriculum is Math In Focus (MIF). Teachers may assign lessons on google classroom, for your child to complete during remote days.

This is the link your child will use to sign in for online access.

When logging into the first screen, be sure to choose NH as the state and School Administrative Unit 33 as the district. Then click Next.
The next screen will ask for the student’s login and password. That was provided by the classroom teacher.

Materials pick up will be Friday, October 23 between 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

Technology Update

The LRES office staff are currently calling families that are in need of technology for remote learning days. If you notified the school that you needed a chromebook, you should be receiving a call this week to schedule a time to come by and pick up your child’s device.
Quick Reminders from our Nurses' Office!

Stay safe this Halloween by following these tips from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services!

Reminder to please refrain from sending students to school with masks that have exhalation valves on them. Here’s why. Please reach out to the School Nurses’ Office if you need cloth masks for your student and we will help!

Now is still the perfect time for you and your family to receive a seasonal flu vaccine!

Thanks for helping us keep our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn,
Nurse Emily and Nurse Kelsey, School Nurses at LRES
Red Ribbon Week at LRES!

Red Ribbon Week is coming to LRES! Once again, LRES is teaming up with the Raymond Coalition for Youth and taking time to commemorate this important week. Recognizing that drug and alcohol prevention efforts MUST start early, LRES is committed to creating a week focused on healthy decisions, medication safety and goal setting! During the week we will be sharing a quick video via your student’s google classrooms as well as providing fun, optional activities for the entire family. Lastly, each child will receive a Red Ribbon Week t-shirt. The week of October 26 we will have Monday and Tuesdays students wear their Red Ribbon T-Shirts (to support solidarity in pledging to be drug free) – and on Wednesday and Thursday students are encouraged to wear their pajamas to school – (to support Following their dreams)!
