UBCM Convention Registration Now Open
Online registration is now open for the 2019 Convention, September 23-27 in Vancouver, BC.

and be sure to review the registration policies before completing the registration process.
Refund policies for cancellations are as follows:
- Cancel by August 9: 100% refund
- Cancel between August 10-23: 50% refund
- Cancel on/or after August 24: no refund

You will need the email address that you used when registering and your registration number (found on your confirmation email). If you can't find the registration number, you can retrieve it

Keynote Speaker: Peter Mansbridge
Convention kicks off the morning of Wednesday, September 25 with Peter Mansbridge, one of Canada's most respected and recognizable figures. For five decades, including 29 years as anchor of CBC's The National, he has guided us through the political, economic, and cultural events that have shaped the country.
Long Service Awards
The Long Service Awards celebrate local government elected officials in BC who have served a total of 25 or 35 years of service.
Nominations
are being accepted until August 31.
A Childminding Program for UBCM members will be offered once again during the 2019 Convention for a nominal fee of $30 plus GST per day/per child. UBCM members requiring childminding services must register by August 30, 2019. For more information, please contact Lilliana at

Convention Code of Conduct
At the 2016 Convention, delegates endorsed resolution B103 asking UBCM to implement a convention code of conduct. Extensive work has been undertaken and we are pleased to advise that UBCM has a formal
Convention Code of Conduct in place for the 2019 Convention.
