Our MYELOMA S*CKS awareness campaign is definitely a bold departure from where we’ve been before and we can’t wait to see the results.
At this junction, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Aldo Del Col, our late co-founder, visionary, colleague and friend. Before his passing in August, Aldo saw our new direction, and felt hopeful that the campaign would help elevate awareness for our cause. »

Myeloma Canada welcomes Muriel Ingrassia to the team

On January 7, 2020,
Muriel Ingrassia, CPA, CMA, officially joined the Myeloma Canada team as Manager of Operations.
She is responsible for the sound financial management, accounting, governance and administration of the organization. With more than twenty years of experience in various fields such as information technology, arts and culture - of which ten years were spent working for a not-for-profit organization - Muriel has developed a strong expertise in accounting. We're looking forward to benefitting from Muriel's contribution and impressive experience.

Congratulations to Jessy Ranger, recently appointed Manager, Public Affairs and Communications (Francophone Community)

We're pleased to announce that
Jessy Ranger has been promoted to Manager, Public Affairs and Communications (Francophone Community),
effective January 1, 2020. Jessy joined Myeloma Canada on March 19, 2018 with more than 10 years of experience in corporate and community communications for not-for-profit organizations and within Quebec’s healthcare system. Before her promotion, Jessy held the position of Communications Coordinator.

|
Responsible for French communications and digital platforms since she started with us, Jessy has shown great passion in the implementation of awareness, education, and patient rights advocacy projects.
Her skills as a communicator, her understanding of the challenges related to drug access and her commitment to our community have earned her a key position within our organization. Jessy's work in community and government relations helped her enlist the participation of stakeholders from all sectors in promoting the interest of patients and move forward important issues.
It was natural to provide her a title that better reflects her responsibilities within our team.
