Peace is the mantra for this week.
Peace isn't something you can find outside of yourself. It is a force that exists within.
Just because you are on a spiritual path, doesn't mean chaos and frustration will not exist.
It's like meditation.
You're mind may wander but you need to bring yourself back to center.
Keep reminding yourself to be in peace. That means you need to let go of drama and feeling annoyance by others. They only antagonize your ego. Ego wants you to be attached to others' anxiety. It wants you to follow the excitement of chaos. It is the naysayer, the negative judgment, the "I told you so." And, even the reclusive, self-berating voice within.
Chaos and Ego will only leave you feeling void of peace. It creates attachments to everyone and everything.
You are not others' keepers. Don't take on parenting or directing people who don't want to listen or heed your advice. Don't become what other people want you to be.
To find inner peace, we must be our own person. We need to respect our inner spirit and detach from what other people's demands are. Let people make their own decisions. Allow them to take accountability for themselves.
We have a choice. You are not trapped. Find like minded souls. Connect with people who can understand and support you. Not by feeding the drama and discussing the frustration, but by emphasizing the positive. Realizing that when we feed the negative energy, it will only fuel it and make it stronger.
Focusing on our attributes and abilities, as well as creative goals is really the key to finding peace. Find ways to create new outlets of joy and positive connections. Try not to get focused on the negatives. Be light-hearted. Not so serious.
Our need to find peace calls to us. It is a quiet pull deep within that yearns for us to find it. If others' are antagonizing us, it's a test to make that peace stronger so that we can call ourselves into it when things are really chaotic.
It's like developing a muscle to be able to lift heavier burdens.
If we feed into the negative chaos, we we will never develop our ability to endure issues that may be coming.
Our guides bring us these little experiences to build up our tolerance. To build our endurance.
The focus is keeping the peace within. Not, what is happening around you. To be the peace, to walk it, live it. Make it your most important goal everyday.
Don't let anyone take your light!
