Programs of the Jewish Federation of Edmonton
|
|
Your gifts to UJA support the Jewish Family Services Community Links Program, greatly improving the quality of life for newcomers and other Edmonton populations in need of assistance.
Through the very popular Community Links Program’s Resettlement Services, JFS clients are offered English classes, job search support, help in accessing affordable housing, guidance in navigating government services and much more. The Community Links program places special focus on helping vulnerable women; last year, more than 60% of clients were women. The program has developed the trust of clients and community members, with 30% of clients referred by former clients or friends. Thanks to your support, newcomers and other at-risk community members are provided free access to this array of highly professional and reliable services, helping them to live happier, healthier and more productive lives.
The JFS clients and staff are very grateful for your support.
Your gift to the 2019/20 UJA Campaign makes programs like
Community Links possible!
