Three Florida Atlantic University Path To College Science Scholars took center stage as tomorrow's future leaders in a "TED Talk" inspired competition on June 4. Aysah Siddiqa, Gaelle Michele, and Hanna Ali from Lake Worth Community High School presented, "Chronic Stress in Early Life Causes Adult Anxiety in Zebrafish, "during Education Fest 2020 on June 4. Erik Duboué, Ph.D., an assistant professor of biology in the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, guided the students in his research lab during the year-long program. FAU's Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College is proud to partner with Path to College to bring science to high school students and guide them on independent projects.

Kenneth Kalczuk, a Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College student at FAU, was accepted to the 2020 Hoover Institution's Public Policy Boot Camp. "Participating in this program will be very beneficial for my future career in government," said Kalczuk. "I will have the opportunity to learn from former White House officials and some top professors and researchers."
