Marquette Looks Ahead to Prosperous 2019-2020 School Year
Marquette to welcome 68 new students to campus in August; applications still being accepted
Less than three weeks removed from celebrating the graduation of one of the largest and most decorated classes in school history, Marquette already has its sights set on the next chapter. Applications continue to file in, but as of this writing, the incoming Class of 2023 consists of 68 students from 15 schools and three countries.

"I want to thank (director of admissions) Jennifer Quinlan for her tireless work in identifying the best and brightest children throughout Northwest Indiana and aboard. Our student base remains diverse and service-focused and I can't wait to welcome our newest Blazers to campus," principal Allyson Headd said.

Of the current 68 students currently enrolled, 49 matriculated from Marquette's partner schools, including 12 each from Queen of All Saints and Notre Dame. Marquette welcomes five international students from Spain and China. 18 students were accepted into Marquette Catholic High School University, the school's early college program. In its third year, MQTT-U enables students to graduate with both a Core 40 with Academic Honors diploma and an associate degree. 52 of the 68 students (76.5%) are Catholic.

"Our teachers and staff remain dedicated to providing a challenging academic environment that fosters moral development and civic responsibility," Headd remarked.

Marquette is currently operating under summer office hours. Current and prospective students and parents can reach staff Monday through Friday between 8 am and 12 pm. All offices and buildings will be closed July 1st-12th as renovations get underway. The campus will re-open on Monday, July 15th under the aforementioned summer hours. Beginning August 1st, offices will be open from 8 am until 2 pm. The first day of school is set for Monday, August 19th.

Current and prospective parents are encouraged to visit our website (marquette-hs.org). In addition to serving as the school's virtual home, marquette-hs.org contains a wealth of information including schedules, handbooks, policies, student features, and much more. Parents are also asked to confirm all email information is up to date.
