Penfield United Methodist Church would like to invite you to our annual Terrific Treasures Rummage Sale on
Friday, July 27, 9 AM-7 PM & Saturday, July 28, 8 AM-2 PM. Stop by and pick up some new to you "treasures" including baby & children's items, books, clothing, exercise/sporting equipment, lots of furniture, household items, jewelry, outdoor items, tools, toys & more...something for everyone! Thousands of items will be available at the annual Asbury First Storehouse Summer Sale,
including: costume jewelry, housewares, furniture, linens and quilts, crafts, fine china, glassware, lamps, pictures, and much more.
Our boutique area features handbags, vintage clothes, and other unique items. The sale also features some extra-great deals over the weekend!
Our Saturday specials are: Half off from Noon-3 pm and
$5 Bag Sale 3-4 pm;
our Sunday Special is: $5 Bag Sale all day.
And the shopping you do at the Summer Sale is for a good cause! All proceeds benefit the Storehouse, which serves families in the greater Rochester area with clothing and household goods all year long.

The Bergen United Methodist Church,
located at 27 S. Lake Avenue (Rt. 19) in the Town of Bergen, will hold its Summer Chicken Barbecue
on Saturday, August 4th.
You may eat in or take out.
Menu includes 1/2 Chicken, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Applesauce, Roll and Dessert.
Tickets are $10 for Adults; $5 for Kids.
Seating begins at 5 pm, take-outs at 4:30 pm. Presale tickets are available until Wednesday, August 1st and are strongly recommended as we sell out quickly.

Asbury First UMC Presents: Camp Seuss VBS!
August 6-9
"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it's not."
Join Asbury First UMC as we bring wisdom from Dr. Seuss' literature into today's changing climate and culture.
Vacation Bible School is open to all children ages 4 through 5th grade. We have fun activities planned like games, drama & theater, art, and much more!
Camp is Monday-Thursday August 6-9 at 9 am-12:30pm
at 1050 East Ave. in Rochester.
The cost is $15 per child and no more than $40 a family. Please pick up a registration form from the church office or register online at asburyfirst.org.

Block Party on East & #hoptheroc: Guinness World Record Attempt for Largest Hopscotch Game
#hoptheroc (a Guinness World Record attempt) goat yoga, live music, food trucks, a 90s-themed night, an escape room, and much more!
Asbury First UMC's Block Party on East
(August 7-9 at 6 pm nightly at 1050 East Ave. in Rochester)
is building bridges across neighborhoods and harkening back to a time when neighbors knew one another by name and kids played outside together.
Block Party on East is the church's premier
community-building party with fun events every night.
But the biggest night of Block Party on East will be Thursday evening with an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the most people playing hopscotch at a single time.
There will be four people to a board, and 650 people are needed to come out and, with a hop, skip, and a jump, show that we are better together.
