I am delighted to announce a major,
exciting development in the life of the California Civic Engagement Project (CCEP).
Starting July 1, 2018, the CCEP will move to new headquarters at the University of Southern California's Sol Price School of
Public Policy in its Sacramento location.
The Price School is one of the leading centers for research and teaching on public policy in the nation, earning the No. 2 spot in the country for Best Graduate Schools in Public Affairs in the latest U.S. News & World Report ranking.
The USC Price School in Sacramento offers a vibrant and dynamic setting for the CCEP to expand its current work, with a shared commitment to public service and outreach. This transition heralds a unique and exciting partnership. To that end, I will also be joining USC's distinguished faculty.
With this announcement, I want to express my deep appreciation to my colleagues at the University of California Davis who have championed my work over the years. I first founded the CCEP in 2010 at the UC Davis Center for Regional Change. Over the years, the CCEP has grown into an active and nationally recognized civic engagement research center. I owe this success in no small part to the support I received from many mentors and colleagues at UC Davis and beyond. As a UC Davis alum myself, I will always be a proud Aggie.
Starting in July, I warmly invite you to visit the CCEP's new offices at USC Price in Sacramento located at 1800 I Street, at the corner of 18th and I Streets. We will be hosting a public launch event on August 22nd. Details will be coming your way soon!
Kindly note that our CCEP website will remain the same, however, starting July 1st, our website address will change
to ccep.usc.edu in order to reflect our new institutional status at USC. In order to ensure a smooth transition, our current UC Davis website URL and email addresses will be forwarded to the new USC addresses.
