Our chanichim aim high each day at Machane Ramah. From striking the bullseye at our new archery area and soaring to new heights at migdal, to enhancing our skills on the fields. We strive to be everyday heroes performing mitzvot around camp and helping our surrounding community.

Host Israeli Staff Members
Join us in welcoming 46 new shlichim (Israeli staff members) to the Ramah family and 12 returning shlichim. Our shlichim love to spend Shabbatot and weekends with the Ramah family. It's their opportunity to enjoy the greater New York area, get to know you, catch up on sleep, enjoy a home cooked meal, and even do some laundry. If you are able to host shlichim, kindly  complete this form . We will be in touch with you if we can make a successful match. Thank you very much!
Edah News
Every Friday, we will post highlights from each edah (division) on the Ramah Nyack website . Click on the name of an edah below to read this week's update. This week we have added a link to our weekly Sha'ar update.
General Camp News
Taste of Sha'ar
Our Sha'ar Hebrew Immersion program, now in its sixth year, is proud to have 109 campers participating. Sha'ar campers enjoy all the fantastic activities at Ramah Nyack, while engaging with their counselors exclusively in Hebrew. Click here or on the image above to take a look at this video highlighting the second week in Sha'ar.
Spotlight on Swim
We have been staying cool in our four pools this week! Our phenomenal lifeguards, all American Red Cross certified, are instructing campers in skills ranging from blowing bubbles underwater for our beginners, to practicing strokes and diving techniques for our more advanced swimmers. Adding extra free swims to our two regularly scheduled swim periods during these hot days has given everyone a chance to practice their new techniques, cool down, and have a lot of fun. Click here or on the image above to see our campers enjoying our pools.

  • Please call camp at (845) 358-6240 or email travel@ramahnyack.org before noon on the day of the change and let us know what time you will be picking up your child. The office staff will notify your child's counselor and bus driver of the revised dismissal plans.
  • Upon your arrival for early dismissal, please park in the Gould parking lot (across from the entrance to Nyack High School). Please obtain a visitor's pass from our security staff and proceed to the camp office where you will meet your child and sign him or her out. Please do not take your child out of camp without signing out.
  • All early pick-ups must take place BEFORE 3:30 p.m. After 3:30 p.m., pick-ups will be carpool pick-ups in the Gould parking lot at regular dismissal.
