Can used toner cartridges and printer cartridges go in the recycling bin/cart?
We've had some residents inform us that they have been told that printer/toner cartridges can go in their regular recycling. This is FALSE! Do NOT put any type of cartridge or electronics in with your regular recycling.

Cartridges should be taken back to a retailer who accepts them or put in your household trash. It is very common for manufacturers and product packaging to claim their product or packaging is recyclable when that is not the case.
