MIDDLE SCHOOL

Congratulations to the Middle School girls hockey team on an amazing season.  After a hard-fought championship game this week, the team ended the year in second place.  Kol HaKavod!  And best of luck to the Middle School girls soccer team who have advanced to the playoffs in their league!

HIGH SCHOOL

Students in the RKYHS AIPAC group had the special opportunity to attend a breakfast organized by JNF with lawyer and author Alan Dershowitz.  Professor Dershowitz has been called "the nation's most peripatetic civil liberties lawyer" and one of "the best known criminal lawyers in the world."

The eleventh and twelfth grade girls and twelfth grade boys yahadut classes heard from a representative from Renewal,  a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people suffering from kidney disease and saving lives through kidney donation.   The students heard about the halachic reasoning behind living donor transplants and heard an inspirational story from a woman who donated her kidney as well.
