Under picture-perfect blue skies, 180 seniors took their final walk out of Elfers to the Harris House lawn for Commencement exercises. An hour later, after singing "Fair Hotchkiss," they became Hotchkiss's 127th graduating class. This year's commencement speaker was Cheo Hodari Coker '90, a former music journalist turned television writer and producer known for such television series as Luke Cage, NCIS: Los Angeles, Southland and Ray Donovan. Ronni Mok '16, Merrill Scholar at Cornell, is Honored
Ronni Mok '16 was honored as one of 34 Merrill Scholars at Cornell University, a designation given to Cornell seniors who graduate in the top one percent of their class. At convocation on May 22, recipients were honored, as well as the secondary school teacher they each selected as the most influential in their academic careers. Mok's guest was Tom Drake, her Hotchkiss instructor in history and advisor. Read more...

Works by Raven Hong '22, Katie Moore '20, Dear Liu '19, Summer Liu '20, Kali Ryder '20, and I Lok U '20 were accepted for "live judging" in the iCreate Bruce Museum competition in Greenwich, CT. A final selection of work will be exhibited in the Bruce Museum's Banite Lecture Gallery through July 21.
