HSP Appoints Raymond J. Alletto, Marian Cope and Frank "Skip" Treco as Senior Risk Advisors
NEW YORK, April 11, 2018 - Hanover Stone Partners, a risk management services firm with expertise in a broad range of critical risk disciplines,  today announced the appointments of  Raymond J. Alletto, Marian Cope and Frank "Skip" Treco as senior risk advisors in Dallas/Fort Worth, New York, and Indianapolis, respectively.

Ray Alletto
Mr. Alletto, who has more than 35 years of experience in risk management, previously was vice president, Risk Management at United Rentals, Inc. Earlier, he was director of Risk Management at Purdue Pharma, LP. He began his risk management career in 1982, as a product litigation manager in Textron's Bridgeport Machines Division and subsequently joined Hubbell Incorporated where he had worldwide responsibility for risk management and employee benefits administration.

Later, at GTE Corporation, Mr. Alletto helped unify the risk management departments of GTE and Bell Atlantic as the companies merged to become Verizon. He earned the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations. A former instructor of ARM courses at the University of Connecticut, he has been active in the Risk Management Society (RIMS); and was a long-time member and chairman of the Manufacturers' Alliance Risk Management Council.
Marian Cope
Ms. Copean attorney with more than 20 years of experience advising clients about risk, concurrently serves as principal and owner of CopeRisk LLC, which works with C-suite executives and others on strategic risk management and related initiatives. Previously, she was with New York Life Insurance Company from 1998 to 2017, first as Assistant General Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel, where she managed litigation for New York Life and its subsidiaries and handled the legal risks associated with the divestiture of the health care subsidiaries.  Ms. Cope ultimately became Vice President of the Corporate Insurance Management Division, where she managed and/or advised about hazard, operational, and strategic risk for the enterprise from 2003 to 2017.

Earlier, she was with Avanti Corporate Systems, Inc., a national physician practice management company, where she established and led the healthcare legal and risk management functions. A recent past president and current advisor of the New York Chapter of the Risk Management Society (RIMS), she earned a B.S. degree in Nursing, cum laude, from Adelphi University and a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.
Skip Treco
Mr. Treco's  insurance career has spanned 36 years, including several leadership roles at insurance brokerages. Most recently, he was a senior vice president of Aon Risk Solutions in Indianapolis. Earlier, he was president and CEO, Indianapolis Operations at Hylant Group. From 1990 to 2007, he was with Marsh where he held positions of increasing responsibility, culminating with a 10-year tenure as managing director and head of the Indianapolis office.

In 1982, Mr. Treco began his career with Johnson & Higgins in Cleveland and worked in commercial lines, middle market account management, and was office sales leader before joining Marsh in 1990.  A graduate of Denison University, Mr. Treco has been actively involved in numerous community organizations, including former posts as co-chairman of Leadership Grand Rapids and of AmeritChieve and board member of Play Ball Indiana and of Brooke's Place.
