Mother's Day!
"All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother." - Abraham Lincoln

Springtime - What comes to your mind when you hear that word? Transformations? May gray seems to have started today and as I write this I think of several things:
1) Planting a garden. (I am late planting my garden) Luckily, I have tomato plants that have decided to pop up on their own-sure hope they are the tomatoes I really liked last year. I have never planted sunflowers, but one is now growing in my garden-what fun! I bought herbs and veggie plants last weekend, darn, they are still sitting on the table outside I finally asked a landscaper I know to come help me.
2) Spring Cleaning. Ric and I are going to be remodeling a bathroom, which led to changing flooring, which led to getting rid of things we have collected over the years (less to move when we get new floors). I thought I was good at not keeping stuff around...YIKES my closet is filled with clothes I have been keeping in hopes of getting back to that size. I finally decided when I get back to that size - I may not like the style... good time to donate. Feels good to have the closet filled with clothes that I wear instead of sorting thru to find them amongst all the others. I know that letting go leaves space for more to come. That's true of our relationships not just to clothes but to all things.
3) Longer Days. Yippee! I love having it lighter in the evening, there's more time to walk the dog when it is light
4) Meet friends and walk at the bay (okay I have not done this yet - but plan to)
5) Sleep with the windows open
6) Fill a vase with flowers from my yard; not ones I have bought
7) Put away my Ugg Boots & Umbrellas
8) Can't wait I have plans to meet friends and go to a farmer's market
9) Clean off the outdoor patio and eat outside
10) Waking up to tweeting birds outside
Hoping you find fabulous things to do this spring that will enrich your spirit.
Hugs, Christie
