Delone Catholic Supports the Pierce Family
On Friday, March 9 the Pierce family was safely evacuated from a fire at their home. We are so thankful that the entire family and their pet were unharmed, however they have suffered a complete loss of their home and its contents. We have had many inquiries from our school community interested in helping the Pierce family through this devastating event. First and foremost, we ask for prayers for the family during this difficult time. In addition, Delone Catholic will be collecting monetary donations and gift cards (for grocery stores, department stores, clothing stores, Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) for the Pierce family. Coach Giraffa and Coach Repasky have also set up a Go Fund Me page for the family. If you are interested in contributing, please send your donation to the school office in an envelope marked "Pierce family" or visit the Go Fund Me Page. We thank you in advance for your prayers and support.

Reminder Regarding New Regulations for Students' Lunch Account Balances
An important change has taken place in State Law regarding meals for students with insufficient funds. The cashiers are no longer allowed to inform students about their account balance  OR   when their lunch account has gone into the negative. All communication will now be directed to the parents/guardians. Only if a student inquires first about his/her balance, can he/she be told. Negative Balance Emails will be sent to parents on a daily basis. Low Balance Emails will be sent up to three times a week. If a student's lunch account balance goes into the negative $17.50 or higher for Full Price students, or $2.00 or higher for Reduced Price students, THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECEIVE A MEAL! This new regulation only covers a reimbursable meal. It does not cover ala carte items. The existing rule remains - if the student's account balance is in the negative,  NO ala carte items will be allowed to be purchased.    If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Holly Sorice, at  [email protected].

This week our virtue theme is ENCOURAGEMENT The strength to give others confidence, support and hope. ENCOURAGEMENT is necessary for all successful teams! We need to ENCOURAGE to give spirit, love and spirit to our teammates, especially in times of stress and difficulty. An ENCOURAGING teammate is a loving teammate.
