****Message From Bartlesville Police Department****

The Bartlesville Police Department has approximately 40 Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicles in service ranging in model years 2010-2017.

We have experienced intermittent steering lock-up on at least a dozen of these vehicles, mainly in model years 2011-2014 and in both rear wheel and all-wheel drive models.

The intermittent steering lock-up or sudden loss of power steering mostly occurs at lower speeds and while making left turns.

We have started a case with the manufacturer regarding these complaints.

The Bartlesville Police Department is asking for any help in identifying other Police agencies with Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicles who may be experiencing the same intermittent steering issues.

Any and all assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated.

Please communicate with my Patrol Captain who's information is directly below. Many thanks.
