The Snowball Express has arrived! In plenty of time to watch
Superbowl LII. Annie, the official spokesdog for the Turkey dogs,
is practicing her Tom Brady pose in hopes she can be the first
Heisman golden.
18 goldens arrived from Istanbul this past Monday, 2 have gone
to Knoxville to live. (Annie told them they didn't know how to
play football there but they were confused). So, Annie wants
Superbowl party food!! She prefers queso and chips and loves
chicken wings, deboned of course. Come to adoption day to meet
her cousins and friends. They are beautiful and friendly like Annie.
We've welcomed our latest batch of Turkey Dogs (Snowball Express) and are looking for a sponsor for each turkey dog to help defray their travel expenses ($1,000 per dog). So, pick a dog so they can stay in America!! To see the beautiful pictures of each member of the Snowball Express, check out our orphan page. I am a 3 year old girl with a beautiful red coat. I came to AGA from a shelter. Things have been confusing since I was found but despite all that, I have good
leash and house manners, am pretty laid back, and my fosters say I am a
"couch potato", whatever that means. I love all people, greeting them with
wags and kisses. In fact, everyone says that I am a Velcro dog.

We're getting closer each day to our Golden Gala event
which will be taking place this year at Cobb Energy
Performing Arts Centre.
We will also have a silent auction & live auction and
for the first time the silent auction will be an online auction.
With an online auction, we're hoping to raise a lot more money!
If your dog frequently chews on his paws, you know how painful it is to watch, let alone how excruciating it can be for your pup. Once you've ruled out infections, and environmental/food allergens, one of the most effective ways to soothe the itch is to ensure your dog is getting enough essential fatty acids in his diet.
When dogs lick each other's face, they're not exactly kissing. It can be a sign of affection, but more likely, it's a sign the licker wants to play or is busy setting the social order. Licking is the opposite of aggressive behavior, so get ready to enjoy some play.
