ou Ask: "What If?" We Answer: "Why Not?"
Every year, I attend the A3 Business Forum in Orlando, and every year I'm reminded why: Smart Vision Lights gets to learn from the brightest minds inside and outside the automation industry. Economist Alan Beaulieu told the crowd that the latest sales forecast for the automation market is trending upward (after initial projections indicated a slight dip over the next few years). Couple that with 50 percent growth in conference attendance, and you can see why machine vision and automation are poised for success in 2018.
But what made me think the most was the opening keynote address, which posed the question "What if?" Machine vision has a long history of asking, and answering, this question. And so does SVL. "What if?" leads us to develop innovative features like Multi-Drive.™ "What if?" prompts us to build an in-house LED testing laboratory. "What if?" allows us to offer the machine vision industry's only 10-year warranty.
We especially like it when our customers ask us this question. Because even with the most challenging lighting application, SVL will always answer, "Why not?"
