PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION BEGINS NEXT WEEK
FEBRUARY 5-7

Don't miss registering your child or inviting a preschool family you know to enroll for the 2018-2019 Valley Ranch Baptist Preschool year!

At VRBP, children ages two to four learn through a Bible-based, custom curriculum that emphasizes essential skills for kindergarten readiness. Above all else, we desire for children to develop a life-long love of the Bible and to seek after Jesus all the days of their lives.

Registration will take place during the following sessions on a first-come, first-served basis:
  • February 5, beginning at 9:00 am - Currently enrolled preschool families
  • February 6, beginning at 9:00 am - VRBC church members
  • February 7, beginning at 10:00 am - Open to the public

EXPLORE MEMBERSHIP LUNCH
FEBRUARY 18 | MEAL AND CHILDCARE PROVIDED

If you or someone you know would like to learn more about membership at VRBC, the Explore Membership Lunch on Sunday, February 18, at 12:15 pm in the Seminar Room, is THE BEST way to find out what VRBC is all about! After sharing a delicious meal and getting to know each other, church leaders will talk about what it means to be a VRBC member. Lunch is FREE, and childcare is available, if reserved in advance.

What are some of the benefits of becoming an official church member?
1. Relationship and Community: Church members pledge mutual support to one another, so the relationships you make are tied together in a deeper, more meaningful way.

 2. Opportunity to Make a Difference: One of the biggest benefits of church membership is the opportunity to invest your life, time, and resources in a collective purpose that will outlast your lifetime.

3. Accountability: Each member's commitment to spiritual growth and training encourages others to make better decisions and holds all members accountable to biblical principles.

4. Leadership Development: By church membership, you demonstrate your commitment to maturing in Christ, which can serve as a starting point for increased leadership and responsibility within the church body.

To learn more about becoming a member of VRBC and to  RSVP to attend the Explore Membership Lunch, just mark the back of your Connection Card during Sunday worship, or email John Hewlett at  jhewlett@vrbc.net .
CORNERSTONE BOOK DRIVE
NOW THROUGH APRIL 30

Cornerstone, our sister church in South Dallas, would like to add more books to its mini-library. Books on a variety of topics are needed to lend in the cafeteria serving its homeless ministry: Bibles (English and Spanish), art, photography, biographies, history, computer technology, literature, medicine, sports, and travel, as well as how-to, inspirational, sudoku, puzzle, and sketch books with pencils.

If you would like to donate gently used or new books, please drop off books on the front porch of the home of Amy and Jeff Suttle, where a container will be provided. Please email Amy Suttle at  sam.txwildcat@verizon.net  for the address. Collection will continue through April 30.

THE GREAT DIVIDE
MISS LAST SUNDAY? WATCH OR LISTEN ONLINE

Some of our greatest heroes crossed "the great divide." John  Glenn broke through the atmosphere. Christopher Columbus crossed an entire ocean. Chuck Yeager broke through the sound  barrier.

In the same way,  we are called upon to cross great divides and be spiritual explorers. Our mission requires us to overcome barriers of every kind and cross over to plant  the seeds of the gospel.

Join us Sunday morning as we look at another  character from Scripture who crossed great divides for the sake of the gospel. If you missed the first sermon in this series, click here to watch.
