More than half the money spent on fuel bills goes towards providing heating and hot water. Installing a room thermostat, a programmer and thermostatic radiator valves and using these controls efficiently could save you around £75 a year.

Church Carbon Calculator Training
Training opportunities for parishes will be announced soon. Working with Lancaster University, the Diocese have commissioned a bespoke carbon calculator for churches that helps identify the priorities for tackling carbon emissions. Read more

New Northern Forest gets Government Backing
A 25-year programme to plant 50 million trees in massive woodland creation project is under way  throughout Yorkshire. Woodland cover in our region is at just 7.6%, below the UK average of 13% and far below the EU average of 44%. Read more.
