Early Intervention Program Update
In the Roscoe Village Early Intervention Program, our toddlers are learning about the 5 Little Monkeys theme, and parents are learning about using the listening first strategy. In Wood Dale, our toddlers are learning about transportation.
We have 5 new families that have started in our toddler program in 2018!
The Baby Voices group has been using the "Baby Beats" program which the babies and families love. Check it out!

Lovin' Literacy - Building Comprehension
Reading comprehension can be a challenge for students with a hearing loss due to vocabulary and language delays.
One way parents can work on reading comprehension at home is by asking questions after reading with their child:
- Who are the characters in the story?
- What is the setting?
- What was the problem? How did they solve the problem?
- What happened at the beginning/middle/end?
- Did you like the story? Why or why not?

Developmental Diversity Resource Fair
Join Child's Voice, State Representative Deb Conroy and State Senator Tom Cullerton for a free fair to learn more about resources available to children with developmental disabilities and their families. The fair is being held on Saturday, February 3rd from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Glendale Heights Sports Hub, 250 Civic Centre Plaza.
