Sept. 25, 2017-July 9, 2018

The Zone Jumper Team Championships are an entry point to the Show Jumping Athlete Pathway. Individual medalists are invited to a USHJA Gold Star Clinic.

The USHJA Emerging Jumper Rider Program was launched last year in conjunction with the USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships, to identify Jumper athletes who have the skill and desire to excel in the sport. Applications for the 2018 USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships are now open

The Gold Star Clinics are available on demand at EQSports.net. USHJA members are eligible for a 50 percent discount by entering EQUSHJA2018 in the Redeem Coupon section.

Nationally, the USHJA Foundation also has grant and scholarship opportunities for members, including the Gochman Family Grant , which provides recipients an opportunity to experience U.S. Pony Finals, and the Hamel Scholarship for Further Education, a $25,000 scholarship designed to encourage further education.

It's time to apply for a  2018 Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program Regional Training Session.

Sessions feature intensive mounted and unmounted instruction from top clinicians in the sport and are open to riders 25 and under who apply and meet the requirements. 

In Zone 1:
July 8-12,  Mount Holyoke Equestrian Center in  South Hadley, Mass., with  Karen Healey and Nanci Snyder. 
Apply by May 14.

McKayla Langmeier Attended USEF George H. Morris Horsemastership Training Session
Congratulations to Zone 1's McKayla Langmeier, of East Granby, Connecticut, who participated in the 12th annul USEF George H. Morris Horsemastership Training Session Jan. 5-7 in Wellington, Florida, where riders learned from the sport's top clinicians.  Click here to watch the clinic on demand.
NEW Regional Championships Added to USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Program

New Regional Championships have been added to the Green Hunter Incentive Program this year! 

Brandywine Horse Shows  is offering a Regional Championship close to Zone 1 at the Brandywine Valley Summer Series II, July 3-8.

Horses MUST be enrolled to participate, so enroll your 3', 3'3", 3'6" or 3'9" Green Hunter by Feb. 1 to enjoy the lowest enrollment rate!  Click here to read more.

Old Salem Farm in New York, will be hosting the 2018 Jumping Adequan FEI North American Junior Children and Young Rider Championships, presented by Gotham North, Aug. 1-5

Old Salem Farm sits on 125 acres in the rolling hills of North Salem, N.Y., and hosts competitions such as the prestigious American Gold Cup CSI4*-W and the Old Salem Spring shows. 

The location met the key determinants outlined in the bidding process, according to US Equestrian. Read more about the 2018 championships.
