Forest Hill HS Graduate Proves Success Knows No Borders
You may remember Orlando Lopez, a 2017 graduate of
Forest Hill Community High School, from a
WPTV story that aired last May. Orlando came to Palm Beach County at the age of 16 knowing absolutely no English, and having last attended school in his native Guatemala at the age of 13.

Students Compete in Engineering Competition
Palm Beach County students recently competed in "Engineer It!", an annual engineering design competition complete with $5,000 in cash and prizes awarded to winners in elementary, middle and high school categories.

PeopleSoft Unavailable During Spring Break
The PeopleSoft system will be unavailable from Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 6 p.m. through Monday, March 26, 2018 at 6 a.m. to upgrade the software to PeopleSoft 9.2.
Please note: No one will have access or the ability to utilize the PeopleSoft system during this outage. All Self Service, eLearning, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Time Entry, Payroll, Billing, and Purchasing activities will be unavailable during this outage. PeopleSoft usage should be planned accordingly to minimize disruption to normal business practices.

Palm Beach County Teachers Receive Prestigious Holocaust Educator Award
This year, three of the four winners of the Gutterman Family Outstanding Holocaust Educator of the Year Award are from the School District of Palm Beach County.
The highly competitive award, funded by Arthur Gutterman, enables winning teachers to participate in an all-expense paid educator field study to Poland and Israel.

Upload Receipts by March 15 for Classroom Supply Assistance Program
The FY18 Classroom Supply Assistance Program will come to a close on March 15. Teachers that have received funds through the Program will need to upload their receipts or shop through one of the Participating Vendors by March 15 to avoid a payroll deduction.
