Student Health Gladiators Visit West Georgia
The Chattooga High School  Student Health Gladiators  took an amazing tour of  University of West Georgia  and the Simulation Lab at the Nursing School! These are the faces of our future health care... we think we’re in good hands.
House Bill 301
Check out the video of Emory University APRN students advocating for HB 301 . A much needed bill for rural health care in Georgia and critical for the education of physicians, APRN and PA students !
HB 301 does four things:

Converts the current preceptor tax deductions to tax credits

Adds APRN and PA preceptors as recipients (meeting the same eligibility requirements as physicians)

Has an effective date retroactive to January 1, 2017

Implements an incentive structure to provide higher amounts of credits for rotations 4-10
Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
Effective January 19, 2018

The eNLC, allows for registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical/vocational nurses (LPN/VNs) to have one multistate license, with the privilege to practice in their home state and other eNLC states.
