PCO Social & Basket Raffle:

Dear BFCCPS Community,

The  BFCCPS Parent Community Organization Family Social and Raffle will take place next
Friday, March 23rd at Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School.

The Family Social and Basket Raffle is the single largest fundraiser of the year. The money raised during this event will fund Field day t-shirts and lunch for all students, the PCO also helps cover the cost of field trip scholarships for members of the BFCCPS Community, and offsets the cost of the 8th grade graduation ceremonies. The PCO's annual gift to the school for the 3rd year in a row will be a donation of  $5,000 which will be allocated towards playgrounds at the new building.   As active members of the BFCCPS Community, we hope you will each take a look at the volunteer needs and let us know where you can help. Volunteer shifts are a quick 30 minutes leaving lots of time for you to enjoy the event with your family!

We also hope that you'll be able to join us for the big event. After all, this is a great opportunity to catch up with friends from BFCCPS and meet new members of the community. This Olympic themed event will have plenty of fun activities for the whole family!   We encourage you to  pre-order tickets  to save time at the door.

With all the snow and power outages, you may not have had time to shop for your class raffle basket. Good news! There is still time. If you want to give, please feel free to drop items off by  Thursday. You may also feel free to donate via cash or check to the PCO. We will be happy to shop for basket supplies as they are needed. If you have any questions or concerns, contact your room parent or Laura Topper at  laura_topper@yahoo.com.

We look forward to seeing you  next Friday night, and thank you in advance for helping to make the night a success for our children!

We look forward to seeing all the wonderful items our classes collect for

BFCCPS Middle school students in Grades 6-8 and BFCCPS Alumni of currently enrolled siblings are also invited to volunteer; students and alumni will receive one raffle ticket will be given for each 30 minute volunteer shift.  Please note that middle school and alumni volunteers should have family in attendance at the event as this is not a drop-off activity

If you have a knack for gift wrapping we could use your talents!  Volunteers are invited to attend  a "Basket assembly party" some evening between March 17 and 22.

Volunteers will also be needed to help transport finished baskets to the Social.

If you can help with any of these tasks, please contact Laura Topper at  laura_topper@yahoo.com .  Once we have a set of volunteers, we can assign tasks and work on scheduling and logistics.

Thank you for your help!
