Marquette Celebrating Denim Day Oct. 23rd
School Has Set Fundraising Goal of $750; Students, Staff, Faculty are Encouraged to Wear Pink Tops, Blue Jeans for Minimum $5 Donation
Marquette Catholic High School is once again embracing October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

With breast cancer expected to attack over 276,000 women this year - and kill over 42,000 - all of us have been affected in one way or another by this terrible disease.

In response, Marquette and the American Cancer Society will continue their partnership this Friday, October 23rd when we host our annual Denim Day. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to wear pink tops with blue jeans on the 23rd in exchange for a minimum $5 donation to the American Cancer Society.

This year, Marquette has established a goal of raising $750 for the American Cancer Society. With full participation on October 23rd, we'll accomplish that goal handily!

Since Denim Days were established in 1996, participants have raised $98 million toward breast cancer programs and services. Included in these programs and services are investments in research, and providing patients with transportation and a place to stay.

Join us in breaking out blue jeans and pink tops on Friday, October 23rd and let's make breast cancer a thing of the past!
