I ntent on Running for ALERT Board

It is that time again....   Any ALERT member interested in running for the two upcoming Board of Director positions (Vice President and Treasurer) can send all inquires to: ALERT.president@gmail.com.  Qualified members must be in good standing in the Association and must have been a member for at least 24 months prior to be eligible for office.  Terms of office for officers of the Association shall be for two years.

Deadline on all inquiries is April 15, 2018

2018 ALERT International Training Symposium/Conference

Reminder that Lake Oswego Police Department will graciously be hosting our 2018 ALERT
Conference/Symposium.
Host hotel and more details will be posted on our websiet very soon.  A big thank you to Officer Mike Brady and the ALERT Board of Directors for spearheading this training.

Dates will be September 16-19, 2018. 

Bruce Cabral Scholarship

The ALERT Board of Directors are now accepting applications for our 2018 Educational Scholarship.
Each year ALERT provides and educational scholarship in honor of ALERT Past President and Charter Member, Bruce Cabral, to children of current members.

Applications and more information can be found here and the deadline to submit is September 1, 2018.

Z-Man Award

2018 "Z-Man" Award Nominations are also being accepted.  Officer Mark Y. Zylawy from Portland, OR. tragically passed away on January 27, 2008 in a tragic and untimely accident.  He worked as a District Officer in Northeast Portland for 17 years with plenty of passion, dedication and enthusiasm.

2019 ALERT International Training Symposium/Conference
 
Early reminder that we have also begun search on the location for the 2019 ALERT Symposium.  If your respective agency is interested in hosting, please contact any ALERT Board member for more information.

A.L.E.R.T.
