Many thanks for all the behind the scenes work and presentation preparation done on behalf of our annual meeting last Sunday.

As we look toward the coming weeks and months, our Vestry, and subtask force for strategic planning will be discussing ways to minimize our operating expenses, grow our services and pursue our options for making our church building safer and easier to get from ground level to first floor.  As bids come in for our planned narthex renovation, removal of the stairs and the placement of an elevator (lift), we will need to consider our best approaches for trying to make all the necessary things happen both physically and financially.  As we gather the facts and identify the options, I want to present the congregation with information to make an informed decision for what we want to do to the building and how we should go about doing it.  I am thankful to Les Woodward and our capital campaign team for their work so far in gathering facts and information from contractors.  More needs to be done and within the next couple of months the Vestry hopes to have enough information to share with the greater congregation in a planned forum between the services at future date.
