The Supreme Court of Ohio issued their favorable decision in the long-awaited Nationwide v. Lucarell (2018-Ohio-15). Recall that this case involved decisions in the lower courts in Mahoning County granting punitive damages on contracts, a misapplication of the prevention of performance doctrine, as well as other substantial deviations from long-standing contract law.Read more
